How to add and pay for optional extras to enhance your trip
Some hosts offer optional extras to make your trip more convenient and enjoyable. These can include items like child seats, delivery, additional mileage, prepaid fuel, or other special add-ons. Here's how payments for these extras work.
Types of Extras You May Find
- Prepaid fuel: Return the car without refueling
- Extra mileage: Extend your trip's mileage limit for longer drives
- Child safety seat: Ideal for family trips
- Delivery or pickup service: Have the car brought to your chosen location
- Other add-ons: Such as car chargers, Wi-Fi devices, or toll passes and others
How Payment Works
- You'll see all available extras listed on the car's details page or during checkout
- The cost of your selected extras will be added to your total trip amount before you confirm your booking
- If you decide to add extras after booking, you can do so from your trip page until the trip starts. The additional cost will be charged to your saved payment method
During Your Trip
Please confirm that the host has provided all the extras you paid for at check-in. If something is missing or not as described, contact Ridee Support immediately for assistance.
After Your Trip
Extras are non-refundable once the trip starts, unless the host failed to provide them or an approved issue is verified by Ridee.

Review each extra's price and policy before confirming to ensure it meets your needs. Transparent pricing helps you enjoy a smooth, worry-free ride.
Need Help?
If you're charged incorrectly or an extra wasn't provided, open a ticket through your trip summary or contact Support within 48 hours after your trip ends.
